1, Color has an effects on emotion. People have facorite colors for some reason they cannot explain. They will decorate their room in one color. Color theory involves primary, secondary intermediate colors, color properties of hue and value, and harmonies. All of these effect the human brain in different ways to get emotion involvement with color.
2. The aspect of color that insterests me is the human brain and color. Why is it that people can have a favorite color, what causes this?
3. In the Color video, the 'Assumption of the Virgin' was amazing. As were other old frescos. How the old artists painted on plaster with little equipment was amazing. They stored pigment in pig bladders until steel tubes were available. And the difficulty to get pigment was anothe rhurdle. I liked the video as they took the boat through Venice. Nice view of Venice.
4. The Feelings video was interesting when the artists switched from religious works of art, to 'human', or secular artwork. Things sometime got a little nasty, like Goya painting killers, witches, and David painting nasty stuff also. That transition changed the future of artwork, but I still like the old religious art.
